 The verbs below are called non-action verbs. They are NOT normally used in progressive tenses. 
 Verbs with a * can sometimes be used, but it has a special meaning.  | 
HERE ARE SOME EXAMPLES:

 not: His heart sounds good.
 She knows how to be a good nurse.
