WRITING QUESTIONS - Subject vs. Object Questions With Prepositions

Study these sample questions:
SUBJECT QUESTION: A subject question asks about the subject of the sentence.
Do NOT change the word order of the question.
ANSWERQUESTION
Gina is talking to Lee.   Who is talking to Lee?
An accident happened to Tim last week.   What happened to Tim last week?

OBJECT QUESTION: An object question asks about the object of the sentence.
You MUST change the word order of the question.
ANSWERQUESTION
Gina talked to Lee.   To whom did Gina talk? <--super formal
Gina talked to Lee.   Whom did Gina talk to? <--formal
Gina talked to Lee.   Who did Gina talk to? <--informal
Frank listened to some music.   To what did Frank listen? <--super formal
Frank listened to some music.   What did Frank listen to? <--informal

Directions: Write a question about the underlined section of each answer below.
Use WHO for people and WHAT for things.
