Future Time Clauses 1

-EXAMPLE-
FIRST: Sebastian takes a shower. THEN: Sebastian goes to bed.
[main clause]
[time clause]
Sebastian will take a showerbefore he goes to bed.
[USE: future with WILL]
[USE: simple present tense]
--OR--
         [time clause]   comma ->          ,
[main clause]
After Sebastian takes a shower,he will go to bed.
[USE: simple present tense]   comma ->   ,
[USE: future with WILL]
**Important Notes: 
The time clause must have a simple verb - no modals!
When the time clause is put in the first position, you must use a comma.

1) First: Sebastian will wash the dishes tonight. Then: Sebastian will watch TV tonight.

Sebastian (wash)  the dishes tonight before he (watch)  TV.

-OR-
After Sebastian (wash)  the dishes tonight, he (watch)  TV.
2) First: Sebastian will eat a snack. Then: Sebastian will brush his teeth.

Before Sebastian (brush)  his teeth, he (eat)  a snack.

-OR-
After Sebastian (eat)  a snack, he (brush)  his teeth.
3) First: Sebastian will check his email. Then: Sebastian will surf the net.

Sebastian (check)  his email before he (surf)  the net.

-OR-
After Sebastian (check)  his email, he (surf)  the net.
4) First: Sebastian will write a report. Then: Sebastian will check it for mistakes.

After Sebastian (write)  a report, he (check)  it for mistakes.

-OR-
Before Sebastian (check) his report for mistakes, he (write)  it.
5) First: Sebastian will lock the door. Then: Sebastian will go to work.

Sebastian (go)  to work after he (lock)  the door.

-OR-
Sebastian (lock)  the door before he (go)  to work.
