RULES:
Use ANOTHER + a noun for one more item in a group: another banana Use THE OTHER + a singular noun for the LAST item in a group: the other pear
Examples: I ate one banana, then I ate another banana. Maybe later, I will eat another one. First, I ate one pear, then I ate the other pear. Now there are no more pears.
