Spelling [-ed] Words 3 - WORDS ENDING WITH -Y

VOWEL + Y
If a verb ends with a vowel + [y], simply add [ed].
Example:  stay  --> stayed
CONSONANT + Y
If a verb ends with a consonant + [y], change the [y] to [i] and add [ed].
Example:  study  --> studied
