CAPITAL  LETTERS

Capitalized words fall into three main groups: Names, Titles, and First Words.

Here are some examples with FIRST WORDS:

FIRST WORD of every sentence: The papers were signed today.

FIRST WORD of every question: Do you know him?

FIRST WORD of every quote: Kelly shouted, "Don't do that!"

FIRST PERSON pronoun (I): Mary and I went swimming.


FIRST WORD of every line of poetry:

***Special note: some poets choose
NOT to capitalize their poems.
